Scientist (m/f/d)
Developability and Formulation Development

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and continuously re-evaluate high-throughput, cutting-edge developability screening strategies for a wide range of biomolecules
• Investigate protein structure-biophysical property relationships and establish correlations between biophysical properties and in silico predictions
• Design, coordinate and execute formulation studies in accordance with QbD and DoE strategies
• Plan and conduct complex experiments on robotic high-throughput platforms, statistically analyze large datasets, document and interpret results
• Present and discuss data and scientific literature in internal and external meetings
• Scientific supervision of student assistants and research associates
• Keep up with the latest developments in the field and integrate the information into the project

Your profile:

• PhD degree in protein biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics or equivalent, ideally combined with 2 years of relevant industry experience or M.Sc. plus 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Deep understanding of protein structures, biophysical properties, and their relationship
• Hands-on experience in methods and techniques specific to formulation development such as DLS/SLS, SEC, HIC, icIEF, nanoDSF, DSC, Light Obscuration and Flow Imaging Microscopy
• Experience in aspects of protein formulation, selection of suitable excipients, and freeze-drying process development is of advantage
• Strong organizational and outstanding problem-solving skills, critical and independent thinking, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail
• Expertise in the implementation of assays and workflows on liquid handling platforms is a plus
• First experience with DoE, QbD and programming languages (e.g. Python) is a benefit

Welche Aufgaben haben Sie?

• Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören u. a. die Kostensteuerung und – Verfolgung, Nachtragsprüfung, Prüfung des Leistungsstands und Soll-Ist-Abgleiche, VOB‑Schreiben, vertragliche Prüfungen sowie regelmäßige Monatsreporte.
• Weiterhin übernehmen Sie die Aufgaben der Projektsteuerung nach AHO.
• Sie erkennen und steuern Risiken in Ihren Projekten und führen regelmäßige Begehungen auf der Baustelle (Qualitätssicherung) durch.

Was bringen Sie mit?

• Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes Diplom- oder Master-Studium des Bauingenieurwesens, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens, Architektur absolviert oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Eine Berufserfahrung in ähnlicher Position ist von Vorteil.
• Sie verfügen über Kenntnisse der gängigen MS-Office Software und haben Grundkenntnisse in iTWO, die wir Ihnen auch beibringen können.
